MirrorMirror: the new stylish way to engage with your friends

If you sometimes have trouble deciding how to choose the right outfit for the day, this new app lets you turn to your friends and followers for advice. MirrorMirror is a platform that gives users, influencers and brands the opportunity to give and receive feedback without the fear of trolling that is often a problem for platforms such as Facebook, Twitter and Instagram.

At present, almost 20% of the 100 million selfies taken per day are fashion related. With MirrorMirror, you can connect with like-minded individuals via a stylish and easy-to-use interface. Not sure which outfit to post to Instagram? The app lets users upload two photos so that their followers can choose which they prefer. Followers do this by swiping left or right in the same vein as you’d choose who you want to date on Tinder. Once the votes are in, you can easily choose to share your post with your wider social network in only a few clicks.

You can also use MirrorMirror if you’re looking for some outfit inspiration and this is easily done by using a search function that directs you to content to match your style and users you may wish to follow. A team of stylists behind the app collate some of the most on-trend items from high-street brands such as H&M, ASOS and Topshop, designers such as Gucci and Dior and even sportswear brands such as Adidas and Nike. See something that you like? Click the ‘Buy it Now’ option next to the item and you’ll be directed to the correct site.

The free MirrorMirror app combines fashion, social media and e-commerce into one place, and is available for iOS and Android.
