Natural High, a drug abuse prevention organization that encourages youth to say yes to their passions and no to drugs, announced the launch of a new iPad app developed by Troy Apps Software.

According to a release, Natural High’s iPad app will reach more than 6 million youth through 16,000 educators nationwide with the simple message: having a natural high is better than having an artificial one. A natural high is an activity, art form or sport that you love to do and makes you feel good- inside and out. The app will contain candid, personal streaming videos from celebrities about achieving success by being drug-free. Stories from the band Switchfoot, singer Cassadee Pope, action sports star Travis Pastrana, NBA player Mike Conley Jr., gymnast Jordyn Wieber and more actively demonstrate that not everybody is doing drugs. The app also features digital curriculums that can be used anywhere, anytime- because the native app does not require Internet connectivity.

Natural High Chief Visionary Officer Jon Sundt said, “This iPad app enables us to deliver our message digitally with amazing graphics and high-quality celebrity videos to millions of students. Kids are downloading apps every day and the iPad is the platform they want to be on that’s where Natural High needs to be to tell our youth that living life free from alcohol and drugs is the best high of all. The app developed by Troy Apps will help us creatively amplify our message and give millions of students a cool reason to click and turn their backs on an artificial high.”

“The native iPad app we created for Natural High enables the organization to reach more students on a device teens love the iPad! With rich images, the capability to load large videos and iTunes access, the app will help Natural High communicate its inspiring message to schools nationwide,” said Troy Apps Software Chief Executive Officer Michael Trautt. “We’re proud to be part of this important movement and encourage people to give to this incredible organization by visiting naturalhigh.org/give.”
