New Apple TV Now Open for Preorders Through Apple Website

Last month, Apple CEO Tim Cook enthusiastically called the new Apple TV “the future of TV”. It won’t be long before you can judge for yourself, as the set-top box can now be preordered from Apple.

Of course, this isn’t surprising, as Cook had already revealed the timescale for the home hub’s retail launch during an interview last week. But it’s still exciting to now be able to head to Apple’s website and see the 32GB and 64GB models, priced at $149 and $199 respectively in the US, plus AppleCare Protection and additional Siri Remotes now all up for preorder.

The day of retail release for the fourth generation Apple TV appears to be October 30, as that is when the earliest deliveries are set for. A staggering 80 countries will be getting the set-top box on that date.
