New Child-Friendy Case for iPad Mini Launching This Month

Though tablets have become more popular gifts for children in recent years, not least due to more tablets coming out in smaller sizes and at lower prices, there remain occasionally awkward implications of this. Some parents fret, for example, about the possibility of their children accidentally damaging a tablet or spending too much time on it at the expense of their studies and other pursuits. A probable good answer to these issues has arrived in the form of a child-friendly case for iPad Mini: KiDCASE.

KiDCASE is set to launch on KickStarter later this month, and promises several features that should help keep parents’ minds at rest whenever they leave their children with iPad Minis. These include time monitoring to limit how much daily time children can spend using the tablet and solid drop protection. The option of custom skins should also enable a child to make a KiDCASE uniquely theirs. There will also reportedly be KiDCASE lines available for iPad Air and Android devices shortly after the initial launch.
