New green finishes unveiled for iPhone 13 and iPhone 13 Pro

Green iPhone 13 and alpine green iPhone 13 Pro

Following the iPhone 12 being given a midcycle release in a special purple version last year, Apple has repeated the trick at its Peek Performance event, announcing that the iPhone 13 lineup will get new green colors. Specifically, those will be green for the standard iPhone 13, and alpine green in the case of the iPhone 13 Pro.

The possibility of a special green colorway for the iPhone 13 was the subject of speculation shortly before the event, and that rumor has proved to be true.

As was the situation with the purple iPhone 12 last year, the specifications of the green iPhone 13 and alpine green iPhone 13 Pro will remain the same as those for the versions in existing colors. So, the new green colors will be the only aspect of these devices that will be different if you already possess an iPhone 13 or iPhone 13 Pro.

Nonetheless, with the iPhone 13 having only been available for about six months, the new green hues might just provide you with a further incentive to upgrade from a previous iPhone variant, if you are yet to do so.

Apple has confirmed that both of these green iPhones will be available to preorder from Friday, and will become available March 18.
