SMK-Link Electronics Corporation, a subsidiary of SMK Electronics, one of the largest manufacturers of OEM remote controls in the world, today announced that it will launch the new iCalc Bluetooth Calculator Keypad at Macworld/iWorld 2013, January 31st through February 2nd, Booth #1004.

Matching the look and feel of Apple keyboards, SMK-Link’s new iCalc Bluetooth Calculator Keypad magnetically aligns with the Apple Wireless Keyboard to add a dedicated numeric keypad to the iMac® and other computers originally supplied with Apple’s reduced-size keyboard. iCalc, which wirelessly connects to any Bluetooth-enabled OS X® or Windows® computer, operates selectively in either numeric keypad or calculator mode.

“If you’ve purchased an Apple computer over the past several years, chances are you don’t have a dedicated keypad on your keyboard,” states John Blair, General Manager of Branded Products for SMK-Link. “While Apple’s reduced-footprint Wireless Keyboard is designed for casual use, a dedicated keypad is essential for data entry into spreadsheets, accounting programs and other numeric applications. Our new iCalc, which pairs magnetically to the Apple Wireless Keyboard, can be used as an integrated keyboard keypad, or as a stand-alone keypad/calculator with Mac® and PC laptops.”
