New iPhone X ads highlight Animoji karaoke, Face ID in the dark and more

As Christmas approaches and the iPhone X sits firmly at the top of many people’s wish lists, Apple has conveniently shared four new ads that highlight some of the device’s stand out features including Face ID, Animoji and more.

Since the release of the iPhone X, Face ID has come up against some concerns regarding its safety and compatibility with factors such as a change in appearance and using your iPhone in the dark. These ads aim to dispel some of these common worries by showing how the feature works “no problem” in the dark thanks to the TrueDepth camera sensor.

Apple also demonstrates how Face ID can adapt as your face evolves whether that be because of glasses, a new hairstyle or different makeup – “iPhone X recognizes you even when you change your look.”

Another video talks about how Face ID is the “most unforgettable magical password ever created”, showing how the feature works with Apple Pay.  The fourth video demonstrates the recent Animoji Karaoke trend that has only grown in popularity since the phone’s release.

These videos come only a week after Apple’s annual holiday video which focused heavily on the iPhone X and AirPods – another thing that we’re expecting to see at the top of everyone’s Christmas list this year.
