New MacBook Air to Be Launched in Late Feb?

Rumors suggesting Apple are about to unveil a refreshed version of their iconic Macbook Air machine are circulating online. Apple are expected to hold a product unveiling on February 24th, when its expected they will also release further details about the Apple Watch.

Various reports have suggested that the new Macbook Air will be the slimmest Apple laptop ever. Itā€™s thought that the machine will feature a 12-inch screen and a fanless design, with the tech giant being able to offer an ultra-slim device after removing all connector ports other than the headphone jack and reversible USB Type-C input. Itā€™s also thought that the machine will feature a Retina Display, like many of Appleā€™s other higher-end products.

Apple boss Tim Cook recently said that tech fans can expect the Apple Watch to be shipped in April. Experts predict that specific release dates for different territories will be announced at the press conference. However, another long-awaited device, the iPad Pro, is not expected to be launched at the event. The first incarnation of the MacBook Air was launched over seven years ago, in February 2008.
