Apple is reportedly readying the release of its new MacBook Pro between September to November.

According to reliable Bloomberg journalist Mark Gurman, the Cupertino company is set to release its long-awaited redesign of the MacBook Pro – in both 14-inch and 16-inch models – in the coming months, which will form part of a bumper fall season for the company. In the same period, we’ll also see new Apple Watches, iPhones, and iPads, suggesting 2021 could be even more successful than 2020 for the technology company.

Speaking in his Power On newsletter, Gurman has suggested that the new MacBook Pro models will enter into. mass production from the third quarter of this year, and added that Apple will announce them between September and November. Last year, the company introduced the first M1-powered Mac models in November.

Gurman added that the company had been due to release the new MacBook Pro model earlier in the year, but there were complications in mini-LED production which led to a short delay. The new MacBook models are likely to feature a new design with flatter edges and an iPhone 12-inspired chassis, alongside under-the-hood changes like mini-LED displays, like the same ones used in the new iPad Pro. Apple will also reintroduce MagSafe charging to the MacBook, add more ports as standard, and introduce an M1X or even an M2 chip.
