We now know when the next iPhone and iPad should arrive, but what about the next MacBooks and MacBook Pros? According to a reliable source, 9to5Mac writer Mark Gurman, they are on the way – with the first models possibly to arrive as soon as next month.
In a new feature article about what can be expected at Apple’s just-announced media event for March 21, Gurman claims that, according to his sources, we can expect both “faster” 12-inch MacBooks and “upgraded” MacBook Pros later this year.
The release schedule for both remains hazy; however, the MacBooks “are in store for debut by WWDC, potentially in April or May”, while the MacBook Pros are “coming by the second half of the year”. It doesn’t seem entirely out of the question that Apple might announce the new MacBooks, possibly including Rose Gold models, on March 21 – as Apple has reportedly actually considered doing so.
