If, like us, you have enjoyed synthpop band New Order’s latest album, Music Complete, you can now look forward to a fresh spin on it. A new, extended mix version, Complete Music, will arrive as a 2 CD set and in standard and hi-res audio download formats on May 13.
The new album features alternative artwork from regular New Order collaborator Peter Saville and will, prompted by “overwhelming demand”, include the extended tracks that originally appeared on the limited edition vinyl box set of Music Complete. Those tracks will also become available for streaming, including on Apple Music, for the first time.
The CD version of Complete Music will come in a cardboard slipcase, while all formats will be packaged with a download of the original Music Complete album. Preordering the album now through New Order’s online store will allow you to get hold of two of its tracks, “The Game (Extended Mix)” and “Singularity (Extended Mix)”, before the release date.
