Some new images of the rear casing for the iPhone 6S Plus have been leaked. Judging from these pictures, the upcoming phablet will bring as few changes as already predicted, but those changes could include a stronger construction to make the handset less likely to bend under pressure.
The new photos have been published by Future Supplier. As the new device has been proposed by numerous previous reports to be called the iPhone 6S Plus rather than the iPhone 7 Plus, it should not greatly surprise that Future Supplier has noticed only subtle differences to the already available iPhone 6 Plus’s body.
The website has, however, noticed differences in the locations of two screws; one of these screws is intended for securing the loud speaker module. Also, an unspecified source that apparently spoke to Future Supplier revealed that the upcoming device’s backing is less smooth, but also stronger, than its predecessor’s.
These new images seem to largely confirm previous reports about what would be only Apple’s second phablet to hit the market. The iPhone 6S Plus seems likely to be formally announced and released in September.
