New photos have emerged, showing what are claimed to be molds and schematics for the iPhone 7 and iPhone 7 Plus. While the authenticity of the pictured items can’t be verified, they do add to the evidence for several rumored features while scotching what could have been a major addition for the Plus model.
The images, originating from Chinese site Baidu and shared by HDBlog, show molds supposedly for both handsets. These molds, says the source on Baidu, are plates used for finishing the devices’ aluminum casings. The plates appear to confirm a dual-lens camera for the 5.5-inch Plus and a single, but also larger compared to that of the iPhone 6S, lens shooter for the 4.7-inch iPhone 7.

Not pictured on either the molds or schematics, however, is any sign of a Smart Connector. One reliable source, NowhereElse.fr editor Steve Hemmerstoffer, has previously leaked evidence that a Smart Connector would appear on the iPhone 7 Plus, but be left off the smaller iPhone 7.
