Nike announces matching running shoes to go with Apple Watch bands

Yesterday, Nike announced that they will be releasing four new bands for the Apple Watch Nike + that will match with their Nike Air VaporMax Flyknit “Day to Night” collection of shoes.

The new colors of these bands are “inspired by a shade of the sky, from dawn to dusk” and will mark the first time that Apple Watch owners are able to directly match their watch band to their shoes. Like other Apple Watch bands, these new options are made from flexible fluoroelastomer material but include a perforated design for extra ventilation.

The most recent collaboration between Nike and Apple was with their cream and black NikeLab band that launched in April to team with the Apple Watch Nike+ device that was released last September.

These new bands are available from 1 June at the price of $49.00 each and can be purchased from Nike.com and in select Nike stores. Similarly, the running shoes will debut on the same date and priced at $190.00. The company have also said that they will be available in Apple stores, on Apple.com and specialty department stores from “early June”.
