Just a day before Nintendo is known to be delivering a mysterious Pokémon-themed online presentation, trademark filings and logos from Europe have surfaced suggesting that the games giant will use that keynote to announce two new games: Pokémon Sun and Pokémon Moon.
Though it has previously been speculated that Nintendo might unveil a game called Pokémon Z, which would be part of the same generation as the currently available Pokémon X and Pokémon Y, this freshly leaked information noticed by Nerd Leaks suggests that Nintendo is lining up a whole new generation of Pokémon games. Those games could include many new collectible monsters.
The upcoming keynote, which is part of the ongoing Nintendo Direct program of online presentations, will begin tomorrow at 7am Pacific Time. It is unclear what format the new games will be available for, but Nerd Leaks reckons that the Nintendo 3DS is a “very likely” choice. At any rate, we shouldn’t have to wait long for the concrete details, as Nintendo has reportedly revealed through Twitter that the presentation will last a mere five minutes.
