With any new technology there’s always the worry that buying them straight away is going to leave you with a meagre amount of apps or games to play around with.
The Facebook-owned VR-company Oculus has announced that they will have 53 Touch-compatible games on offer when the Oculus Touch controls launch on December 6th, 2016. These will be a combination of brand new games like Werewolf Within and VR Sports Challenge, as well as already existing VR titles available for PlayStation VR and HTC Vive, like Surgeon Simulator, Superhot VR and Job Simulator.
The Touch controls come as Oculus’ answer to the HTC Vive controllers, offering further immersion by doing away with the conventional gamepad and putting full control into your hands. Literally.
On top of this, Oculus have stated that anyone who pre-orders the Oculus Touch controllers will receive two free games, The Unspoken and VR Sports Challenge.
The battle for VR dominance is in full swing. Where does your allegiance lay?
