No one knows quite what to call today, but some merchants aren't waiting until Black Friday to open their doors with huge sales and discounts. Best Buy is offering a quick one-day only deal on iPads, from the iPad 2 to the third generation and fourth generation iPads.
Originally the news was announcing that only the third generation would be available at Best Buy with a $50 discount, in addition to $100 in iTunes cards. That's like getting $150 off, if you plan to make use of the the iTunes cards. That's a phenomenal savings. If I didn't already have a third gen. iPad, I'd be really tempted, and by that I mean to buy one for myself, not as a gift for someone else. Now the deal has been extended to include the iPad 2 and the fourth generation iPads, with these models being offered at $60 off.
It's an unbeatable and unbelievable savings, but you have to act on this deal very quickly. The models are selling out online, and at the time of this writing, only about half of the models are still available.
In addition, until the beginning of the next year, Best Buy is also offering free standing shipping. Even if you don't make it to Best Buy online in time to snatch up one of these great deals, make sure you remember the free standard shipping offer for any of your other holiday purchases.
