Open Table With iOS 6 Integration Is A Foodies Best Friend

If you haven’t already, it’s probably a good idea to get familiar with the popular restaurant tool “Open Table.” The new iOS 6 upgrade from Apple allows Siri to integrate with Open Table and set restaurant reservations for you. And the app is free, so it’s a must have download if you’ve upgraded to iOS  6.

At its roots, Open Table is just like any other restaurant review site. Think about programs like Yelp!, Urbanspoon, and Zagat. You’ll get access to basic things like user reviews, menus, location information, and pricing guides. There are also fairly lengthy descriptions of each restaurant (some aren’t as descriptive) and some even have photos available. And if you really find yourself in love with a specific place, you can tap the “favorite button” to place it into a specialized list.

But Open Table has one unique feature that those other restaurant review sites don’t. With this application, you’ll be able to reserve a table, as well as check specific dates for open reservations. This will allow you to set up a dinner date without the need to contact a restaurant directly. And you’ll even be able to have Siri do it for you in the new iOS 6.

Open Table is definitely one of those “must have” apps. You can grab Open Table today from the Apple App Store.
