Photoshop Fix Updated with Further Support for Apple Pencil

Users of Photoshop Fix on iPad Pro will be delighted to know that, with an update issued today, the image retouching app now recognizes pressure changes and tilt shading with the Apple Pencil.

The app, which Adobe demonstrated on the iPad Pro at Apple’s September keynote, already came with basic support for the digital sketching utensil; however, the extended support introduced today allows for more precise editing.

It is, for example, now possible to more quickly fill in large spaces and alter adjustment through applying more pressure on the Apple Pencil rather than changing in-app hardness or softness settings.

The new version 1.2 of Photoshop Fix also includes availability in another 15 languages and an unspecified number of bug fixes. Though the free-to-download app is compatible with any iPhone, iPad or iPod Touch running iOS 8.1 or later, Apple Pencil support is only available for the iPad Pro.
