Pizza is loved world wide, and everyone has their favorite type. From strange flavor combinations to different crust options, ordering pizza is not an easy process. Wouldn’t it be great to be able to sit at your table, customize your order and then play games while you wait? Chaotic Moon Studios has paired up with Pizza Hut and have the exciting task of making that a reality. For the past three years Chaotic Moon Studios has been helping Pizza Hut create the unique idea of the “Interactive Table”.
Pizza Hut has released a video of what the touch screen table is capable of. The video shows how the table can identify you by connecting your smartphone. Other fast food chains are soon expected to follow in Pizza Hut’s footsteps with fun, interactive ordering. The table is just a concept for the time being, but other restaurants, such as Inamo in London’s Soho, have already been using interactive tabletops for some time.
How the table works:
The interactive tables have step-by-step visuals with the different options provided for base, sauce, toppings and sides.
By sliding their finger across, customers can build their favorite or desired pizza. They can also pay using their smartphone which connects to the table. They can also play games while they wait for their pizza to be cooked.
