This summer, Nintendo will be visiting parents and children with the Play Nintendo Tour. Playable Nintendo 3DS games, exciting contests and photo opportunities will all be there to enjoy at each of the 12 cities that the family-friendly tour will visit from June 17 to September 5.
“With the Play Nintendo Tour, there’s a surprise around every corner for kids and kids at heart,” Scott Moffitt, Nintendo of America’s Executive Vice President of Sales & Marketing, has enthused in a press release. “The tour’s massive play area is filled with Nintendo 3DS games and charming worlds themed around classic games and characters.”
Indeed, the tour – which will be free to everyone – will enable visitors to, among many other exciting possibilities, play the upcoming Kirby: Planet Robobot in pink beanbag chairs, take selfies inside a barrel flanked by those banana-munching icons Donkey Kong and Diddy Kong, and compete to win prizes – while those supplies last.
That’s only the tip of the iceberg when it comes to detailing the whole gamut of attractions on offer. Here is the full schedule of where the Play Nintendo Tour will visit and when:
