If, for one reason or another, you won’t be able to get to this year’s E3 video games conference to see what’s cooking for PlayStation formats, Sony has just announced that its press conference at the event will be broadcast live to over 85 movie theaters in the United States, Canada and Latin America.
PlayStation E3 Experience, as the live feed event is called, is now in its third year – and, in that time, has grown in popularity to the extent that Sony has had to more than double the available seating capacity. Fans who go to see the HD simulcast will also be able to pick up two exclusive goodies: a Coca-Cola E3 Experience Cup and #37 from the PlayStation Collectible Card series.
Sony will also be giving away a digital gift basket to attendees, but has so far resisted revealing what will be in it. PlayStation E3 Experience will take place on Monday, June 13, and tickets are completely free – though you might have to rush to get yours!
The official PlayStation blog includes details of how you can clinch your ticket, plus a list of participating theaters in the United States and Canada. The blog’s Latin American arm is also set to be soon updated with information about participating theaters and how to get tickets in that part of the world.
