Popular Writing Software Scrivener Reaches iPhone and iPad

The much-liked author project management software Scrivener has today arrived on iOS, allowing writers to effectively polish their current literary works-in-progress on their iPhones and iPads.

The desktop version of Scrivener on Mac and Windows includes an impressive array of editing and organization tools, with users able to make note cards, character sketches and research notes to keep on hand during lengthy periods of writing. They can also import media, PDFs, web pages and more.

Many of these features have made it to the new Scrivener iOS app, which writers can also use to add comments, keywords and footnotes to their work. However, some features which demand a particularly large amount of screen space, like Corkboard, are only available on the iPad.

The iOS version of Scrivener can use Dropbox to sync with the Mac and Windows versions, but also works well as a standalone app. Priced at $19.99, it is now available for all devices running iOS 9 or later.
