If you’ve long enjoyed using Readdle’s PDF Expert software to edit PDFs on your Mac, then good news: the company has now brought PDF Expert 2, with enhanced editing capabilities, to the platform.
The improvements include the ability to edit text in PDFs – ideal for making changes to contracts, agreements and other documents that the user might receive in PDF form. It’s also now possible for users to edit images in PDF files by adding, deleting, moving or replacing those images.
Another freshly added ability is that to edit and create outlines that can be easily moved through entire files. And, when you want to keep PDFs away from the eyes of everyone except clients, coworkers or other people you’re sharing them with, you can now secure PDFs by password protecting them.
PDF Expert 2 is now available on the Mac App Store for $59.99; however, you can take a 7-day free trial before paying this charge. Meanwhile, if you already have the first version of PDF Expert, you can get PDF Expert 2 as a free update. The video above provides a good overview of the changes.
