Bandai Namco has released several of its arcade classics from yesteryear on Xbox One. Pac-Man, Ms. Pac-Man, Galaga and Dig Dug are all on offer, while three of those titles can alternatively be picked up for less with the great value Arcade Game Series 3-in-1 Pack.
With all four games, the familiar graphics and interface are displayed within specially designed frames. Each game also comes with scanline and sound settings which can be tweaked to modernize the appearance or mimic how each game actually looked back in the early 1980s.
Bizarrely, of these titles, only Ms. Pac-Man is omitted from the Arcade Game Series 3-in-1 Pack. However, given that Ms. Pac-Man is often considered better than the original Pac-Man, Bandai Namco might have been reluctant to scrimp with the pricing for what it perhaps expected to be the most in-demand title.
