Do you often feel so stressed that you would love to take a complete break somewhere warm, friendly and inviting… somewhere like Hawaii or the Bahamas? If those destinations are out of your financial reach, this endearing farm-‘em-up set in a virtual tropical environment could be the next best thing.
Frankly, even if you’ve never previously played a FarmVille game, you probably still have experience of being sent invitations to play one on Facebook. So, many people should already have a good idea of what FarmVille is like in its new incarnation. There are lots of pineapples and coconuts to grow, islands to transport food to, and fish to bring onto the shore… but there’s no really radical shake-up of the formula.
Which, of course, is good or bad depending on how much you like FarmVille generally. We certainly found growing crops and making meals rather therapeutic; however, thanks in large part to Tropic Escape’s freemium restrictions, repetition and boredom could soon set in if you’re not intent on spending any money to speed things up a bit. And, yet, it can remain wonderfully addictive.
By now, you’ve probably already made your mind up about whether you’d enjoy FarmVille: Tropic Escape. It’s an acquired taste – but, personally, we are quite happy to hit that virtual beach and relax with some pineapple smoothies. FarmVille: Tropic Escape is free to download right now for both iPhone and iPad.
