Rumored Samsung Galaxy S6 Mini Appears on Retailer’s Website

A smaller version of Samsung’s popular Galaxy S6 handset has been heavily rumored recently – and now, a ‘Samsung Galaxy S6 Mini’ has appeared in a listing on an online retailer’s website.

The retailer in question is LetsTango.com, which is based in the United Arab Emirates. The listing has been brought to the attention of GSMArena.com, which has pointed out that some of the purported small device’s major specifications are cited in the listing.

According to the listing, then, this small smartphone will come with a hexa-core 1.8GHz CPU, a 4.6-inch Super AMOLED display, 2GB of RAM and 16GB of on-board storage. It will also supposedly come with front and back cameras of 15- and five-megapixel resolution respectively and run Android 5.1 Lollipop out of the box. Visa- and MasterCard-certified Samsung Pay is also mentioned.

However, the listing also warns of “preliminary unofficial specifications” – and, indeed, though the phone is offered for pre-order, no release date is mentioned. Instead, interested shoppers are invited to submit their email addresses in order to be notified when the item becomes available.
