The TVs can tailor their programming to the tastes of whoever is watching, learning what users have enjoyed in the past and personalizing shows based on those trends. The Q7, Q8 and Q9 TVs were showcased ahead of the main CES 2017 show and were shown to have an ‘improved color performance’, as well as Samsungs slew of practical Smart services.
The screens display uses Samsungs own Quantum dot technology, which makes the TVs capable of creating rich detail regardless of how dark or light the image might be. These TVs were reported to be capable of 100% color volume, which means that they can express any color at any level of brightness within 1,500 and 2,000 nits.
The TVs also come with the Smart TV Hub, which are able to provide you real-time results for your preferred sport and even identify songs that you hear on the TV shows that you’re watching, similar to the app ‘Shazam’.
No price or release date has been confirmed, the Smart Services will be available in the US, UK, France, Germany, South Korea, Spain and Italy later this year.
