Samsung Posts Teasing First Ad for Upcoming Galaxy Note 7

While Samsung won’t formally unveil its Galaxy Note 7 phablet until August 2, the South Korean company has still posted a first advert with what could be hints at several of the device’s features.

The ad, which has been posted by the SamsungMobileKorea account on YouTube, does not give us a good look at the phone’s appearance. However, shots of a fingerprint and rotary phones underwater suggest that fingerprint unlocking and waterproof casing will be included. An early scene in the ad also suggests that we could anticipate a front-facing camera flash.

Various other specs rumored for the Note 7, notes Mashable, include a 5.7-inch or 5.8-inch display, 6GB of RAM, 64GB of storage, the ability to expand that storage via microSD, and speedy wireless charging. Also rumored has been an IP68 waterproof design – and this ad makes that look even more likely for inclusion.
