Starbucks Promotes Upcoming Windows 10 Mobile App on Website

For users of Windows 10 Mobile devices, ordering a latte at Starbucks should soon be easier – thanks to a new app which the leading coffee shop chain has started promoting on its website.

While Starbucks is long known to have been developing an app for Microsoft’s latest mobile operating system, it was only today that Windows Central reported being tipped about the crucial change to the Starbucks website. There, a new webpage details the app’s features alongside revealing screenshots.

The app has yet to go live in the Windows Store – and, accordingly, the Starbucks website does not yet provide a link for downloading it. However, the app will enable users to pay for orders, earn and track Star Rewards, check and add to their Starbucks Card balances, and more on their devices.

It is unclear whether the app will also work on Windows 10 PCs. If so, this will likely be appreciated by many Starbucks customers who like the relaxing feel of getting work done in the chain’s outlets.
