If you are among the many to have loved the PlayStation 4 action-adventure Uncharted 4: A Thief’s End, it looks like you could look forward to even more of it arriving as soon as this December.
Citing a source at Sony and another, even less identified source, Let’s Play Video Games reports that story DLC for the Naughty Dog game is to be revealed at the coming PlayStation Experience event. That annual event will, this year, take place at California’s Anaheim Convention Center from December 3-4.
Furthermore, on Saturday morning, Uncharted 4 voice actor Troy Baker reportedly told the same news site that he expects the story DLC to be officially unveiled “very soon”. Speaking at MCM London Comic Con, he also expressed his belief that it will be “by far the biggest story DLC [Naughty Dog] have done”.
Further details revealed by the anonymous sources include that the DLC will involve the usual lead Nathan Drake and his brother, but not Drake’s daughter. They also revealed that the DLC will be stand-alone and playable without the main Uncharted 4 game.
This December’s PlayStation Experience certainly does seem like a convenient platform at which to take the veil off this mysterious Uncharted 4 story DLC. And, if you haven’t yet got around to playing the main game released in May, here’s a trailer to give you an idea of what you’re missing.
