Suppliers readying the release of new MacBooks in October

Apple’s suppliers are reportedly readying the release of new MacBook models next month.

It’s believed that Apple will host an event next month to show off new iPad and Macs,  including 11- and 12.9-inch iPad Pro models, with M2 chip and MagSafe and a 10th-generation iPad featuring USB-C, A14 Bionic chip, and a larger bigger screen.

Other possibilities include a new M2 Mac mini, and new MacBook Pro models featuring M2 Pro and M2 Max processors, though there’s no guarantee that these are to come considering the first MacBook Pro with M1 Pro and M1 Max chip was released less than a year ago. Mark Gurman has suggested that Apple has been working on M2-based successors to the Mac range, but couldn’t specify release dates.

Analysts have reported that Mac sales will remain “flat” as demand for new models helps level out the overall decline in the PC and laptop market. It’s thought that Apple will see an on-year decrease of only 1.4% compared with Lenovo seeing a 14.7% decrease and HP seeing a 22.6% decrease as demand falls.
