As the likely launch date for the next generation of iPhones comes closer and more information about these devices continues to leak, we can become more and more confident about precisely what these new handsets will be like. A new video looks closer at what is supposedly the display frame of the iPhone 6S and suggests what it could reveal about the handset’s features.
The video, through showing the assembly alongside that of the iPhone 6, strengthens the credibility of previous suggestions that the iPhone 6S will, in both its technical features and appearance, see only minor modifications to its predecessor. It was filmed by the European repair company MacManiack and shows the frame, which was obtained from a supplier, to be identical in size to that of the iPhone 6.
MacManiack does, however, also point out a number of subtle differences – including a new connector that could be in place for the handset’s previously-cited Force Touch technology. It seems safe to assume that most or all of these changes, which you can see for yourself below, will also be present in the larger iPhone 6S Plus when both devices are likely shown off by Apple on September 9.
