SXSW 2014: Watch Coldplay Concert for Free

coldplay
Coldplay will open the first-ever iTunes Festival at SXSW on Tuesday.

It might just be the hottest ticket of the 2014 South by Southwest, which runs through Sunday in Austin, Texas. Yet, you can watch the show — even if you’re nowhere near the Lone Star State.

The iTunes Festival at SXSW — which is really a festival within a festival — will be streamed live and on-demand for free via the iTunes Store. Apple TV viewers can also watch all the action, by selecting iTunes Festival from the home screen.

The iTunes Festival runs Tuesday through Saturday. The Coldplay date will also feature Imagine Dragons and London Grammar. The other headliners are Kendrick Lamar on Wednesday, Soundgarden on Thursday, Pitbull on Friday and Keith Urban on Saturday.

For more information, including set times for the performers, visit www.itunesfestival.com.

Coldplay could use this SXSW set to preview music from its forthcoming sixth studio album, “Ghost Stories,” which is due in stores May 19.

“Ghost Stories” is now available for pre-order, through iTunes and other music sites. A deluxe edition of the CD, featuring three bonus tracks, is available exclusively at Target, www.target.com/coldplay.

The Regular Track Listing is as Follows

1. “Always in My Head”

2. “Magic”

3. “Ink”

4. “True Love”

5. “Midnight”

6. “Another’s Arms”
