The Boys has become one of Amazon’s most popular shows and this wild, completely ludicrous take on the superhero comics is an absolute masterpiece. After the success of the first two seasons of the show, the fans naturally demanded a quick wrap on the third season and after months of waiting, we finally have an official confirmation that the filming of season three is done. This was confirmed via the show’s official Twitter page, with a short message: “Now you have an update on Season 3! Stop sending your stan letters to our homes.”

The message was followed by a short video of the main cast confirming the end of filming, but also sending the fans a beautiful “f**k you” via the video, but knowing The Boys, that finger is the most sincere sign of love they could’ve given the fans. Several principal cast members appear in the video, including Chace Crawford (The Deep), Laz Alonso (Mother’s Milk), Jack Quaid (Hughie), Karen Fukuhara (Kimiko Miyashiro/The Female), Erin Moriarty (Annie/Starlight), Antony Starr (Homelander), Tomer Kapon (Frenchie), Jessie Usher (A-Train), Dominique McElligott (Queen Maeve), Colby Minifie (Ashley Barrett) and Cameron Crovetti (Ryan Butcher).

The Boys has become one of Amazon’s most popular shows and this wild, completely ludicrous take on the superhero comics masterpiece.

Jensen Ackles, who is making his The Boys debut in season three, has confirmed that he is “gonna continue being drunk” with a beverage in his hand. In the end, we also see Karl Urban, one of the principal guys from the series, saying something truly beautiful to the whole crew: “Every single one of you has stepped it up this year,” Urban said. “I think this is gonna be our best season yet.”

Season three of The Boys is going to continue the story of the titular group’s fight against the corrupt “supes”, and Jack Quaid, who plays young Hughie in the show, said this: “I can’t wait for you guys to see just how fucked up this season is (…) You’re not ready.” It really seems that we’re in store for a completely crazy third season of this great show and we can’t wait before it finally hits Amazon Prime for streaming.
