The Lego Movie Among HD Films Hugely Discounted in iTunes

If you go down to the iTunes Store today, you’re sure of a big surprise. No, not because of teddy bears, but instead a generous sale on several big name movies in the usually pricey HD format.

There are several big name titles currently selling for $4.99 each in the US version of the iTunes Store – including lovable animated adventure The Lego Movie, sci-fi gems Gravity and Divergent, black comedy American Hustle, action sequel The Expendables 3 and comedy drama The Skeleton Twins.

You can also peruse dozens of heavily discounted HD film bundles. Especially appealing deals include The James Bond Collection, slashed to $99.99 from the usual $345, and Jurassic Park Collection, which is now $29.99 rather than the usual $40.

In addition to all of that, Terminator Genisys is, just for this week, available for rental at just $0.99. It has been widely derided by critics, but more positively received by regular movie fans.
