The Slice App Will Help You Track Your Cyber Monday Purchases

I’ve been waiting for around six or seven things to arrive in the mail lately, since I do around 90 percent of my shopping online. But I have such a diverse group of people to shop for, which can cause for some serious headaches when the items I purchased finally ship. I end up purchasing things from so many different outlets, and keeping up with my tracking numbers is such an ordeal. I know I’m not the only one either, and I’m sure most of you out there right now are probably waiting for a package from USPS, UPS, Fedex, or all three.

This holiday season might have just gotten easier for you to manage, though, thanks to a new application called Slice. This free tool is available for download on iPhone (iPad in compatibility mode) and will really help to streamline your holiday shopping. No longer will you have to worry about checking ten different websites to locate your packages after they have shipped. Slice uses “magic” inbox technology to scan your email inbox and find receipts from purchases. It then uses that information to create and store all of your trackable packages into once cohesive, streamlined, list.

You’ll be able to open the Slice app and have all the information you need right at your fingertips. No more filtering emails, writing tracking information down, or constantly checking your tracking numbers on shipping websites. The Slice application will alert you whenever an item you purchased is shipped, and whenever it is delivered.

This is handy for those of you who have P.O. Boxes. I am in a tricky situation because I do not have USPS mail delivered to my door. Because of this, whenever a package is delivered that I have to sign for, I have to take a special slip from the P.O. Box to the Post Office counter to receive my package. It’s instances like this where Slice comes in handy, because it saves me an unnecessary trip and helps me to get to my packages before the counter closes at the local Post Office.

Slice can also alert you whenever something you purchased goes through a “price drop.” This is perfect for all those locations which offer price drop guarantees. For example, if you order something for USD $20.00, and it drops to USD $12.00 before it ships, you’ll want to make sure that you contact the seller and ensure that you get it for the lower price. There are many different reputable retailers that offer this service, and while most do it for free without your knowledge, Slice will give you extra protection ensuring that you get the lowest price for whatever it is you are purchasing.

If you’re an online shopper like me, you’ll want to go grab this app immediately from the App Store. It’s free, it’s easy to set up, and it’s going to really help you out. You’ll be surprised how much easier things are when you don’t have to worry about organizing all those tracking tickets.
