TV Service PlayStation Vue Hits Web Browsers on Mac and PC

Sony’s live and on-demand TV service PlayStation Vue can now be enjoyed on Mac and Windows PC through web browsers including Safari, Chrome and Firefox, Engadget reports.

PlayStation Vue offers live TV channels from broadcasters including Fox, NBC, ESPN and more. The charge for a subscription to PS Vue starts at a monthly $30, though the service’s availability can vary by zip code. PS Vue was brought to iOS and Android earlier this year, but some channels cannot be viewed on mobile.

On PC, other web browsers through which Vue can be enjoyed include Microsoft’s Edge, which comes with Windows 10, and even Internet Explorer from version 10 onwards. Unique features of the browser-based Vue include a mini-player that can be shrunk to the browser window’s corner while you seek other content.
