With this new option, creators on Twitter will be able to easily receive money from their followers.

For those who can access the feature, the option can be enabled inside of your profile, and then other Twitter users can send you money as a “tip” or “thank you” through third-party payment services such as Patreon and PayPal. Unlike some services, however, Twitter is not taking a cut from the service; users are instead sent to these third parties, which is an interesting move and one many will be happy with.

Want to know whether you can add a Tip Jar to your account? Go to your profile, click on the Edit Profile button, and then you’ll see Tip Jar in the options, where you can connect your payment services.
