Twitter Brings Storytelling Feature ‘Moments’ to All Users

Got a story to tell on Twitter? You can do so more easily with the microblogging site’s Moments feature, which is now being expanded in availability to all Twitter users.

Upon its original launch in October 2015, Moments was intended to enable users to follow stories, such as cultural memes and reports on world events, as they unfolded on the network. However, at that point, only Twitter’s curation team and select publishing partners could make Moments.

In August, making Moments became an option for more users, including what Twitter called “influencers, partners, [and] brands”. And, as Twitter has revealed in a tweet, it’s from today that putting together compelling stories with Moments is something that any user can do.

To make your own Moment, you can hit a Moments tab on your profile page before typing a title, choosing a cover image, and stringing together a series of tweets. However, MacRumors notes that, while creating Moments is now possible both on the Twitter website and in the Twitter iOS app, the feature is apparently rolling out and so might not yet be available to you personally.
