Twitter today released a major update to its app for both desktop and mobile Windows 10, bringing the design and features much more to parity with those of the iOS and Android apps.
While users of the apps on those two popular mobile platforms are already familiar with Moments, GIF support and group chat, all of those features and more have now been added to the Windows 10 app. On desktop, there’s also a new Dark theme in-keeping with Microsoft’s design principles.
Though, at the time of writing, the app listing on the Windows Store has not been updated with a changelog explaining all of the new features, a good substitute has been posted by MSPoweruser. That site notes that, in the otherwise very successful move to Windows 10 Mobile, the updated Twitter app appears to have lost support for syncing with the People app.
