Ubisoft Says Sorry for Assassin’s Creed Bugs

The head of games studio Ubisoft Montreal & Toronto has apologized to players of Assassin’s Creed Unity after a series of bugs were unearthed. YannisMallat has offered free content, describing the experience as “humbling”. A number of glitch-ridden games have been put on the market recently, causing various studios to compensate their customers.

Ubisoft is said to be concerned about its reputation after the bugs were discovered. Assassin’s Creed is the studio’s most successful and popular franchise, and experts are saying that the glitches could be “really damaging for the company”. Ubisoft is known for having a more consumer-friendly approach than many of its rivals. Some of the glitches include missing faces in the PC version of the title. The company also came under fire this year when the graphics featured in the game Watch Dogs were described as uncharacteristically poor, with a version showed at the E3 trade show having demonstrated superior visuals.

Other glitches in the new Assassin’s Creed game include the protagonist being stuck in haycarts and placed up against invisible walls as well falling through the ground. Crashes and problems with frame rates have also been identified.
