What do you want to see in iOS 12?

Despite the fact that the iOS 11 feature that originally launched at June’s WWDC are still rolling out to users, the latest version has now been out long enough for developers, designers, and users to consider what they want to see in the next major update. As a result, an iOS 12 update shows what Apple might have in store.

On the Bēhance site iOS News and More, the Ultimate iOS 12 has been shared, based mostly on an iOS 12 poll that allows its readers to share their thoughts on where they think Apple should place its focus in the next software update. The site has also shared its own ideas about what it would like to see with a gallery featuring rendering of iOS 12 with both the iPhone X and iPhone 8/8 Plus.

Unsurprisingly, the most sought after feature for iOS 12 is a new design. The latest major design change was the transition from iOS 6 to iOS 7 but predicts that its more likely for Apple to focus on incremental design changes rather than a complete overhaul in iOS 12.

While iOS 11 brought Smart Color Invert, the second most requested feature was Dark Mode. Many people believe that a dark mode will be more relevant than ever because of the current bezel-less OLED display and upcoming bezel-less devices that are rumored for 2018.

Other features that have been requested are Split View, new notifications, an assignable lock feature for individual apps, group FaceTime and a redesigned lock screen with always on display.
