Watch the first episode of Apple’s Carpool Karaoke

Right on time, Apple has made the first episode of its Carpool Karaoke series available on Apple Music. The first installment stars James Corden and Will Smith.

We’ve been teased with this show for months, a spin-off of the viral segment from Corden’s The Late Late Show on CBS. Rights to the segment were originally bought in July 2016 and there’s always been plans to unveil weekly episodes to those subscribed to the streaming service.

Apple has described the show as “a star-studded, song-filled car ride” in which “each episode features an unexpected celebrity pairing sharing a car, singing along to their personal playlists, and embarking on adventures.” The list of celebrity pairings thus far include:

Will Smith and James Corden; Miley, Noah, Billy Ray and the entire Cyrus family; Shakira and Trevor Noah; Game of Thrones stars Sophie Turner and Maisie Williams; Queen Latifah and Jada Pinkett Smith; John Legend, Alicia Keys and Taraji P. Henson; LeBron James and James Corden; and many more.

Although the first episode features Corden, he won’t be a regular. Instead, he’ll be fulfilling an executive producer role.

The show is available exclusively to Apple Music subscribers and new episodes of the show will be released every Thursday, although it remains unclear as to which order the episodes will be released.

You can watch the first episode here as well as a couple of previews for future eps. Don’t forget to tell us what you think!
