watchOS 11 Finally Lets Users Change Their Apple Watch Ringtone

Apple Watch new features in watchOS 11 interface showcasing health and fitness tracking updates.

With watchOS 11, Apple Watch users will enjoy a variety of enhancements, such as improved health and fitness features, Live Activities, a new Translate app, and additional watch faces.

Among these updates, a particularly exciting feature is the new ability to change the default ringtone, which was not highlighted during Apple’s Worldwide Developers Conference (WWDC) 2024 announcement.

While users still can’t set specific ringtones for individual contacts or use ringtones from the iTunes Store, this new feature marks a significant improvement in personalization options for the Apple Watch.

watchOS 11 will be released to the public this fall. A developer beta is currently available, with a public beta expected next month. The update will support Apple Watch Series 6 and later models.
