When will Apple release the next AirPods?

Apple has had great success with their AirPods line, leading users to wonder when the company will release new versions of the AirPods, AirPods Pro, and AirPods Max. But when will the next generation be released for each product line-up?

In regards to the AirPods Max, which was released at the end of 2020, Apple does not have plans to release a second generation of the product at this time. However, there have been rumors that the company may release additional color options for the AirPods Max in the future. It is worth noting that the AirPods Max are not able to play audio in lossless quality, even when connected via a wired connection, despite the fact that Apple released support for lossless quality with Apple Music in June of last year.

The AirPods Pro 2 were only recently released and as such, it is not expected that a new version will be available anytime soon. These earbuds feature a new H2 chip, improved active noise cancellation, and the Adaptive Transparency feature, as well as Bluetooth 5.3 support.

The AirPods 3, which were released in October of the previous year, have a similar appearance to the AirPods Pro but do not include ear tips or features like active noise cancellation or transparency mode. They do, however, offer improved bass and support for Dolby Atmos and Spatial Audio. It is currently unknown when Apple will release the next generation of their AirPods and AirPods Pro. Overall, it seems that users may have to wait for some time before new versions of these products are released by Apple.
