Indeed, the general design of the mobile phone or cellphone hasn’t changed much since Steve Jobs’s passing.
Even before the iPhone, the iPod, and the iPad, Apple was still making huge strides in technology with their macbook computers. Many tech enthusiasts still claim that Macbooks are one of the best tech devices that you can purchase on the market today.
The question then is where could Apple go next. Is it possible that they could expand into new markets that they have never dipped their toes in before. Could they start releasing products for gardening? Let’s explore this possibility.
Reasons Why Apple Would Start Releasing Garden Tech
The most obvious answer why Apple would start releasing garden tech and expand into a new industry or marketing sector is money. If Apple felt like they could make money in this industry by filling a gap that exists, then we could see them start releasing garden technology in the next couple of years.
Similarly, if the demand for alfresco living had remained as high as it was during the Covid pandemic then this could also have led to Apple expanding into their area.
At this time, however, Apple is likely still focused on other challenges. For instance, we know from industry insiders that their current challenge is to make their virtual reality headsets more affordable and thus more popular with a wider target audience.
Aside from financial gain, Apple also desperately needs a new, innovative product. It has been some time since Apple has been viewed as a true innovator with every phone and computer released in the last decade feelling just a tad too familiar.
What Would Garden Tech From Apple Look Like?
So, if we postulate for the moment that Apple could release garden tech in the future, it’s worth considering what that might look like. In reality, it’s not difficult to summarize the appearance of this new hypothetical technology as all Apple products that are released on the market have a similar aesthetic that is somewhat unique to the brand. For instance, the tech would like to be either silver or white. It would also be sleeker and far more minimal compared to other garden tech released on the market. There wouldn’t be too many buttons and any options or settings would likely be accessed by something similar to a touchscreen on the device.
In terms of the type of tech that they could release, the possibilities are somewhat endless. For instance, they might choose to release an electric snow shovel. These already exist on the market but Apple could easily put their own spin on this type of device. Or, they might choose to release something like a leaf blower.
However, if we were to wager what type of tech would come from Apple, that could be used in the garden, we would guess it would still be something related to entertainment. This could include something like pool technology such as underwater speakers. Or, it might include an outdoor display system for watching movies and TV shows in the garden. This would fit in with the other devices that they have already released on the market while allowing them to grow their share of the market with a new target audience.
If Not Garden Tech What Next?
If the chances of Apple releasing garden tech are quite slim, then what might they start releasing next over the years ahead? Well, beyond iPhones and computers, it’s highly likely that Apple will turn its attention to AI. Indeed, much of the marketing surrounding the latest iPhone release was based on the AI tech contained inside the device and that’s important to remember. Particularly with competitors like Tesla already focusing on new AI solutions that are not going to just disrupt the market but could completely transform society in the future.
There have also been rumblings in the past of an Apple car but this never came to fruition. Could we see a return to this concept in the future? It’s certainly possible, particularly when you consider the Apple technology is already present in almost every car released on the market today. That includes options such as Apple Carplay. Of course, the company might also be quite happy to avoid some of the costs and concerns associated with the motor industry. Or, they may feel that they do not yet have the USP they need to conquer this particular market.
Could we see robots from Apple in the future? This seems highly likely and we have no doubt that they are preparing some sort of challenger to the Optimus robot that was announced by Tesla earlier this year.
The last thing that Apple will want is for the company to fade from the spotlight.
Is There Any Evidence Apple Is Moving Into The World Of Gardening Tech?
At this time, there has been absolutely no talk of Apple moving into the world of gardening technology. However, that doesn’t mean that this couldn’t happen in the future as Apple continues to look for the next big thing. Remember, a few years ago, people would have said that Apple would never release a competitor to Alexa or a rival to Netflix.
We hope this helps you understand whether there’s a chance that Apple could expand into new markets in the future and if this might include their versions of garden technology. Ultimately, the answer is simple. If the demand is there and Apple has some ingenious ideas about how to disrupt this market sector as they have others, then there is no doubt that we will see new tech from them like this in the future. It is difficult to predict what new creations could arrive from the company in the next few years.
