Apple has recently announced that its annual Worldwide Developers Conference (WWDC) will take place from Monday, June 5 to Friday, June 9. As in previous years, WWDC 2023 will be a virtual event, open to all developers free of charge. Attendees will have access to online sessions and labs, where they can learn about the new features and software that will be presented at the event.

The Swift Student Challenge will also be held during the event, and applications will be accepted through April 19. Apple will select winners based on creativity, technical skills, and innovation.

While the majority of the conference will be online, Apple is planning a special all-day event for select developers and students at the Apple Park campus on June 5. Attendees will have the opportunity to watch the keynote and State of the Union videos, meet Apple employees, and attend the Apple Design Awards.

Apple will select attendees for the in-person event by random lottery. Members of the Apple Developer Program, Apple Entrepreneur Camp alumni, prior Swift Student Challenge winners, and current Apple Developer Enterprise Program members can apply to attend the event.

The keynote event will take place on Monday, June 5, where Apple is expected to showcase iOS 17, iPadOS 17, tvOS 17, watchOS 10, and macOS 14. There may also be new hardware announcements, with a focus on the upcoming AR/VR headset that Apple is developing.

There are also rumors of the Mac Pro and a 15-inch MacBook Air making an appearance.
