If you’re thinking about upgrading your iPhone but don’t want to pay upfront, you’re in luck.
Shoppers can now purchase a SIM-free iPhone using Apple Card Monthly Installments, allowing them to pay for it over 24 months with no interest or fees from their Apple Card.
Previously, users could only purchase an iPhone on a 24-month interest-free deal if they chose a carrier upfront, meaning they’d be locked into a particular network from day one.
Now, shoppers can choose Monthly Installments when they purchase their new iPhone, and the cost of the phone will be split into 24 monthly payments via Apple Card.
Though Apple already offers interest-free financing, purchasing through Apple Card means users can manage their payments in the wallet app easily, there are no late fees to worry about, and they can receive 3% Daily Cash for purchasing through the Apple Store.
Once users purchase an iPhone using their Apple Card, they’ll be able to see their next payment date via the instalments screen on the Apple Wallet app, showing how much of the phone has been paid off so far, remaining balance, and the due date for the next payment.
Users can also choose to Pay Early, reducing the number of payments required.
