Limited Edition Gold PS4 Consoles to be Won From Taco Bell

Gold is apparently becoming an increasingly fashionable color for tech products. In yet another sign of this, Sony has, alongside fast food chain Taco Bell, launched a promotion in which thousands of new, limited edition gold PlayStation 4 consoles can be won.

This gold PlayStation 4 console certainly looks a thing of beauty. Both the unit and accompanying controller adhere to a gold and black color scheme, and follow Apple’s own recent introduction of gold iPhones and iPads and even a gold iPod Touch earlier this year.

For a high-quality and bright picture, you’d better have one of these monitors recommended for PS4.

However, unlike those Apple devices, the gold PS4 is unavailable in shops – at least for now. For a chance of winning, US residents can, during the promotional period from September 24 until November 4, buy a Big Box from Taco Bell before texting the attached unique code. There will be a winner every ten minutes, meaning a total of about 6,000 gold PS4 bundles will be on offer. More detailed instructions for how to “strike gold” are on the PlayStation website.
